The micro-overland trailer is drawn around a rooftop tent from the start. These are the concepts we are working from with Rove Overland.
A Lite shell closes to 4.7 inches, so the tent adds little height and keeps the weight low while the trailer is moving.
With the tent on the trailer, the Commander’s own rack is left for fuel, recovery gear, and the rest of the load.
Open the shell and the bed is ready, above the wet ground and the roots.
The kitchen and storage sit below the sleeping space, so the whole camp fits in one small footprint.
Nothing came out of the Commander to make camp, and nothing has to go back in to leave.

Go Overland Canada was started in 2020 by Vito and Karen, who went looking for a hardshell rooftop tent and found the good ones priced out of reach once shipping and duty were added. They set out to build a well-made tent with the extras included, at a fair price for Canadians.
On the Tundra for the quick trips, and on the trailer for the long way in. A Go Overland rooftop tent goes where we go.
